As you know if you've found your way here, coconut ingredients seem to be in all shampoos now. Many "fragrance-free" shampoos have masking scents or natural ingredients with a scent - even claiming "no chemical fragrance," as if that matters to a person who is allergic to scents. I'm allergic to the smell of flowers whether it's from an actual flower or not, plus grass, leaves, and any number of natural things that exist in nature. So THANK YOU Natural Soap Shoppe. Appreciate trial size, too.
After having Covid, I noticed that hair products I once used made my scalp itch. I tried so many products and finally determined that coconut and all its derivatives along with fragrances were the culprits. If you’ve ever looked at ingredient lists most all hair products contain coconut. I could find fragrance free products but nothing without coconut. THEN, I happened upon this shampoo and not only was it coconut free but I could get it without fragrance! No more itchy scalp! Highly recommend!
I have a hard time finding shampoo that doesn't irritate my skin as I have a lot allergies. But this shampoo works well. It is gentle, but yet thoroughly cleans my hair and scalp.
It works great and is actually coconut free!
